- Establish a procedure for converting available ground motion to parameters required for FEMA P-154 to classify region of seismicity
- Corelate soil types from the Mexico City Building Code with soil types defined in FEMA P-154
- Establish pre-code and post-benchmark building dates based on the adoption and enforcement of seismic code provisions in Mexico
- Determine if FEMA P-154 building types are applicable to typical design and construction practices in Mexico
- Identify lateral system and determine FEMA Building Type for the 6 buildings included in the pilot study
- Perform Level 1 and Level 2 screening and calculate the Final Structural Score
- Prepare report to document the Rapid Visual Screening validation procedure and applicability for use with buildings in Mexico
