CCS Group evaluated and mitigated seismic risk at Edward Jones International Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. The facility is a 10-story reinforced concrete structure that was designed and constructed in the mid-1970s, prior to the incorporation of modern seismic design provisions in the region.

- Presented preliminary costs for seismic mitigation of the building and nonstructural components
- Designed structural strengthening measures for the building in accordance with ASCE 41 using a linear dynamic analysis
- Performed calculations for nonstructural strengthening measures
- Coordinated with fiber reinforced polymer manufacturers for structural strengthening requirements
- Prepared detailed construction documents for strengthening the building and nonstructural components
- Reviewed pricing submittals from mechanical, electrical, and fire protection contractors
- Performed inspections to verify that the installations complied with the intent of the construction documents
- Implemented scheduling controls to coordinate activities with ongoing daily operations
